About Ifeoma
Helping you feel seen, supported, and strong enough to heal.
I’m a mental health therapist—but also a wife, a mother, and someone who understands that life doesn’t always follow a straight path. With over a decade of experience in social work and mental health, I’ve supported individuals, couples, and families through some of the most challenging chapters of their lives.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work with a Clinical Specialization, as well as dual Bachelor’s degrees in Combined Social Sciences and Social Work. My career has taken me from hospitals to community-based care, where I’ve worked with people from all walks of life—including those navigating trauma, relationship strain, parenting stress, grief, and emotional overwhelm.
My approach is integrative, semi structured and personalized. I draw on evidence-based methods, such as EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Gottman Couples Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to tailor our sessions to fit you. At the heart of my work is cultural sensitivity, deep respect for your story, and a belief that healing is possible for everyone.
Whether you’re facing anxiety, burnout, trauma, or relational pain, I’m here to walk alongside you with care and compassion. This space is yours to be seen, supported, and empowered to grow.
I am a Mental Health Therapist, a wife and a mother. I have a bachelor’s degree in Combined Social Sciences and a 2nd Bachelor’s degree in Social Work.
After practicing for many years, I proceeded to earn a Master’s degree in Social Work with Clinical Specialization. I have worked in the field of social work for over 10 years.
Throughout my years of practice, I have worked in both the hospital and community settings, with different demographic groups, meeting individuals with varying and unique life experiences. I have also practiced in mental health, family therapy, and domestic violence.
I value and embrace the diversity of backgrounds and individual differences each person brings to the table. Cultural sensitivity is at the heart of my work and interaction with every client.
My practice incorporates the integration of different therapeutic modalities, tailoring my sessions to your unique needs. During these sessions, I support you in navigating through those difficult life experiences.
I am a trained EMDR therapist, a certified ART therapist and a member of the International Society of Accredited Resolution Therapy (IS-ART). I am also trained in Gottman Couples Therapy, Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), among others.
